At 12:03 on August 10, 2023 (Beijing time),CERES-1 Y7 carrier rocket was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China. A total of 7 satellites, including Geosat Intelligent Emergency-1(WJ-1A), were launched successfully into the predetermined orbit. the TYSPACE PST3S-H5 star tracker work well for the Emergency-1(WJ-1A). PST3S-H5 is one of the mini-sized products in TYspace star tracker series, with the lower energy consumption. It also has the functions of attitude data output and real-time image transmission in orbit.
Geosat Intelligent Emergency-1 is the first artificial intelligence satellite in China. With artificial intelligence (AI) payload as the core and intelligent operating system, the satellite  has a super strong brain, which is the onboard intelligent payload processing unit “String” (Edge AI Platform). This super powerful brain has billions of transistors and can perform 80 trillion floating-point operations per second, which is tens of times higher than the intelligence level of satellites currently in orbit. Taking satellite images of 10000 square kilometers as an example, intelligent satellites with “strings” can complete the entire process in just a few hours of in orbit processing, and achieve dynamic target extraction through in orbit processing capabilities.
Space AI “String” is an open platform that deploys a new computing architecture and autonomous driving level space computing power, driving high-resolution area array cameras, near-infrared cameras, and other payloads. It operates over a hundred algorithms to achieve real-time observation, real-time processing, and space intelligence on satellites.It can achieve continuous learning without the need to transmit a large amount of data back to Earth. At the same time, it has the ability to fully update in orbit, and all intelligent models on it can fully update in orbit OTA.
