At 18:50 Beijing Time on September 19, 2026, a Long March 2D launch vehicle lifted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, successfully sending four Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites into their designated orbits. Eight TY-SPACE NST4S-A2 nano star trackers onboard the satellites entered orbit smoothly.
The four SAR satellites were independently developed by GalaxySpace (Beijing) Technology Group Co., Ltd. They carry high-resolution SAR payloads as well as onboard intelligent processing and mission-planning payloads.
The TY-SPACE NST4S-A2 nano star trackers used in this mission have been successfully applied to multiple satellites and constellation projects, including Shijian-29 A and B, Qilu-3, SATech-01, and Taijing-4 01.
