Congratulations! TYSpace has contributed to the successful in-orbit operation of the Tianyan-26 and HaiShao-2 satellites.

TY-Space August 27, 2025

At 15:33 (Beijing time) on August 19, 2025, China successfully launched the AIRSAT-05 satellite (HaiShao-2), the Multifunctional Test Satellite No. 2-01/02/03 (TianTuo-6), Tianyan-26 (Nuowei-1), ThumbSat-1, and ThumbSat-2 — a total of seven satellites — into their designated orbits using the Lijian-1 Y10 launch vehicle from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The launch mission was a complete success. Among them, AIRSAT-05 and Tianyan-26 are equipped with four star trackers: TYSpace’s PST4S-H1 and PST3S-H4.

AIRSAT-05

The AIRSAT-05 (HaiShao-2) satellite was developed under the leadership of the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its primary payload is an X-band synthetic aperture radar (SAR), supporting wave mode, spotlight, stripmap, and scan modes. It provides imaging with spatial resolution better than 1 meter and a maximum swath exceeding 300 km. With single, dual, and full-polarization imaging capabilities, it also integrates a high-performance onboard intelligent processing module, enabling high-quality in-orbit SAR imaging and automated extraction of ice and ocean information. The AIRSAT-05 (HaiShao-2) satellite is expected to play a vital role in land resource surveys, disaster response, ocean environment monitoring, and global shipping security.

Tianyan-26

The Tianyan-26 (Nuowei-1) satellite is the first satellite of the Nuowei constellation. The satellite adopts a platform-based integrated architecture, with modularized core components. Despite its lightweight body (about 50 kg), it carries multiple advanced payloads, including a visible-light camera, infrared camera, and panoramic camera. Nuowei-1 marks a new step in exploring productive forces for the development of the Nuowei Beidou system.

Tyspace

In line with the development trend of the “Star Era” of commercial aerospace, TYspace has taken the lead in realizing mass production of star Trackers in China. Board-level screening, electronics testing, whole-machine thermal cycle, thermal vacuum vibration, and field stargazing have all been completed in batches automatically. All test reports and test results are automatically output, and the remote monitoring process is clear and more efficient. The annual output can reach 2,000 sets, which can meet the satellite factory’s mass production requirements for high performance, high reliability, high output, and high delivery speed of star Tracker products. So far, TYspace star Tracker products have successfully operated more than 600 units in orbit!
